Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment

Web Design Ireland is committed to making our website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We strive to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, and we continually work to improve the accessibility and usability of our site.

What We Do

We have taken the following steps to ensure accessibility across our website:

  • Semantic HTML markup for proper document structure and screen reader compatibility
  • Alt text on images throughout the site
  • Sufficient colour contrast between text and backgrounds
  • Keyboard navigation support across all pages
  • Focus indicators on interactive elements
  • Responsive design that works across different screen sizes and devices
  • Skip navigation links for keyboard users
  • Clear, readable fonts at appropriate sizes

Known Limitations

While we aim for full accessibility, some third-party content (such as embedded videos or external tools) may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 standards. We are working with our content providers to address these issues where possible.

Feedback

If you experience any difficulty accessing content on our website, or if you have suggestions for improving accessibility, please get in touch. We welcome your feedback and will do our best to respond promptly.

Standards
